Franche-Comté stands out thanks to its excellence in the areas of microtechnology, surface treatments, clock-making and spectacle-making. A favourite breeding ground for this apprenticeship-based training which feeds the know-how needed by the major luxury brands.

The training takes place both at CFAI and SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM. It covers the following subjects :

There are multiple positions: Project Leader, Design Engineer, Design Director,Contract Engineer or Manager, Design and Development Engineer, Engineering Project Leader.

From microtechnologies to biotechnologies

Stemming from the clock-making tradition, many SMEs with expertise in precision engineering and miniaturisation are today specialised in the design and manufacture of components, microsystems and products that are used in the vast area of medical devices.
