CROUS (Regional University and School Welfare Centre) proposes a wide range of accommodation for students, according to different options, rooms in the halls of residence or flats (one- or two-room). The rent varies according to the surface area. The CROUS accommodation is furnished and entitles students to APL (Personal Accommodation Allowance).
How do you get CROUS accommodation?
In order to apply for a room in the university halls of residence, you must submit a request for a Dossier Social Etudiant (DSE - Student Welfare Dossier) each year between 15 January and 31 May on the etudiant.gouv.fr.website. You must also submit your accommodation wishes on this same site, in the trouver un logement (looking for accommodation) section. The request must be submitted even before you have taken the end-of-year exams or chosen your future orientation.
You will receive a reply during the second fortnight of June. Contrary to what many people believe, you do not have to be a grant holder in order to obtaining this type of accommodation. Any accommodation that is available can be offered all year long.

There are restaurants and cafeterias available just a few minutes’ walk away from SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM.
CROUS proposes complete meals and a set of menus and a variety of dishes. For just €3.50 (2018 rate), you will be able to enjoy a complete meal with a starter, hot dish and dessert.
Grand Bouloie university restaurant
Four self-service chains (pizzas, pasta, grill, traditional), a snackbar and fastfood outlet. Open Monday to Friday:
- Self-service 11.30am/1.15pm and 6.30/7.45pm
- Snackbar: 11.30am/1.15pm
- Snacks: 11.30am/1.15pm and 6.30/8.30pm
- Kebab: 11.30am/1.45pm
There’s a Piano bar proposing little fastfood meals from 11.30am to 2pm, and in the evening from 6 to 9.30pm: takeaway pizzas, grills, lasagna and chips.
Petit Bouloie university restaurant
A self-service restaurant is open from 11.30am to 1.15pm, offering a choice between traditional self-service meals, salads and a grill.
The cafeteria is open from 7.30am to 3pm, proposing breakfast, salads, snacks, pizzas, etc.
