Improve your knowledge of companies.

With this internship the students benefit from concrete experience in a company and are now considered in their capacity as future engineers !

Teaching goals

The task entrusted to the intern corresponds to what would be entrusted to a future engineer. The student takes an active part in the accomplishment of an engineering project and learns about project and group management. The assignment may be carried out in the areas of R&D, design, methods, maintenance, metrology, continuous improvement, or of production organisation and management.

On completion of this task, the intern will strive to make the link between their assignment and the skills acquired during their training, and conduct the first concrete review of their professional project.

The required skills

Among other things, the intern is capable of observing and analysing a situation in order to propose ideas for improvement, solve concrete problems while meeting the economic and technical constraints, integrating group working methods and using communication tools. Examples:

  • Optimising preventive maintenance programmes on valves and fittings.
  • Developing an intra-oral optical scanner.
  • Designing a device for the acoustic characterisation of absorbing materials with an angle of incidence.
  • Taking part in a Lean programme and implementing a continuous improvement methodology on an industrial facility. Following up improvement actions.
